Today on Lex's World I wanted to have a high discussion time about consensual crimes...which is a subject I touch on indirectly a lot. I got to thinking about it because of the law change regarding Homosexual acts in Uganda; where Homosexuality was always illegal but now carries even heavier punishments. Despite the idea of personal sovereignty, the law changes slowly and thus there are still many crimes on the books in almost every country on earth that only involve a person and their own body/possessions. The 5 crimes I wanted to discuss today are; drug possession or drug use, Marriage crimes (polygamy and adultery), Attempted Suicide, Acts of Homosexuality and Gambling. These aren't the only five, but they are a prominent sample of what's out there. Each one of these crimes is a good example of why religion and state should keep away from each other as much as possible.
You forgot prositution
He isn't listing ALL consensual crimes, just five.
nice video man! and i agree with all of your opinions 100%, and one is the whole polygamy statement. you can't have multiple partners, but you can easily divorce your partner, and find a new one within a matter of minutes in today's society! its a joke.... and btw nice smoke machine in the background
