How can you start to control your munchies? Marijuana is amazing in its ability to raise appetite. Great for chemo patients... bad for the rest of us. But those who gain large amounts of weight because of Marijuana usually have a second problem: bad eating habits while high. The first step is realizing that the hunger becomes habitual almost as much as it is a physiological affect from the weed. Thus, while its impossible to eliminate hunger cravings entirely while they smoke up, one can alter their habits to reduce the cravings. Today on Lex's World I cover a few helpful tips:
1) Not munching out several times that you're baked in a row, thus not re-enforcing the habit.
2) Get Active! Exercise! Go outside while high; its awesome!
3) Keep healthy snacks around and when you get the munchies go for them.
4) Chew gum.
